MANILA, Philippines – With ‘trees’ growing every five floors, and landscaped gardens lining the hallway of every unit, property developer DMCI Homes continues to revolutionize city living through green architecture in their latest project, Flair Towers in Mandaluyong City.
At the forefront of the company’s newest endeavor is the Lumiventt advantage, a pioneering concept in high-rise living which allows natural light and air to flow freely around the building – eliminating the restrictive feeling of being surrounded by concrete, and allowing future residents to lead a sustainable lifestyle.
The two-tower project, with 41 floors each, will benefit from the features of the building technology by employing a design that lets light to enter and fresh air to freely circulate among common areas and even in the individual units.
This is achieved through architectural elements like single-loaded corridors wherein units open to a landscaped hallway instead of a wall or the door of another unit like in most condominiums. There are also three-storey high sky patios at the front and back of each building which feature pocket gardens full of flowering bushes and ornamental trees. The central atriums located every five floors have breezeways that allow the high-rise building to ‘breathe.’ On top of the towers will be the Sky Lounges and landscaped roofdecks which not only offers a relaxing setting to enjoy the view of the metropolis skyline, but also helps improve ventilation of the two towers.
Flair Towers is the second DMCI project to feature the Lumiventt advantage.
The first is Tivoli Gardens on the other side of Mandaluyong.
Aside from these unique designs, around 70 percent of the 1.4-hectare property is dedicated to green open spaces which not only features various lifestyle amenities for a growing family, but also puts in nature to the surrounding.
Located at the ground floor is the Central Amenity Core which will have separate areas for active play and passive leisure activities. The active zone will feature a basketball court, jogging trail and the children’s playground.
The pool complex will offer a spot for cool dips during summer with its lounge pool, lap pool, and the kiddie pool. The Palm Promenade, on the other hand, will house the alfresco view decks, picnic grounds and pavilions. Encapsulating all these amenities are landscaped walkways and gardens that add a green touch to the whole community.
For starting families
“Flair Towers is primarily targeted for upstart families looking for a place that does not only feel safe, but offers them the comfort and convenience of living in a resort atmosphere without the restrictive price. This new project is DMCI Homes’ way of helping middle-class Filipinos achieve their dream of owning their own houses,” said Alfredo Austria, DMCI Homes president.
To further stress the company’s commitment to providing quality homes, all of their units are significantly more spacious compared to other projects. The smallest studio unit starts at 24 sqm, while the largest three-bedroom is around 114 sqm.
Some of the units also have its own balcony, which also provides natural lighting, and all homes have windows along the hallway wherein light and air from the atrium penetrates.
Parking won’t be a problem as there are around 1,500 slots for private vehicles.
Flair Towers is located a few meters from EDSA corner Reliance Street in Mandaluyong, near Pioneer. The location central is near key business districts like Makati and Ortigas, and major transport hubs like the MRT station.
There are also lifestyle centers nearby such as Shangri-La EDSA, Megamall and Robinsons Pioneer.
Medical institutions like the Victor Potenciano Medical Center and the Medical City is a short ride away.
